Ready, set, go!

Just created the calendar with the approximated due dates. Will be updating it as I set on for material. I am using GMAT Strategy guides by Manhattan GMAT for now.

Some statistics to start with

My long term educational goal has been MBA from top American university for a long time. Trying to build the foundation step by step I have reached the point where there are no more challenges on the way that make the dream impossible. Well, this is the country of opportunities and every dream is possible! if you work hard enough and that is what I am going to do for the next couple of months. Join me in my journey friends!

Having set my date of exam on July 10, 2010 I have exactly two months to do my best towards earning >95% score to guarantee the above average acceptance score in top 10 national universities.

According to Princeton Review 2008 the scores for the universities that I am going to target are the following:

Name Average Score Score Range
Harvard 713 N/A
MIT 710 665-760
Northeastern University 704 N/A
Stanford 721 700-750
University of Michigan 700 640-760

Let's first understand what is the objective and what it does really mean 95%??
From the official MBA website those score charts are

Based on this chart my target goal is 740, where my current test score is 640.
This is one test from Manhattan GMAT I did couple weeks ago before scheduling my exam or starting to study. Some details from that test for my future reference..

TYPESCOREESTIMATED PERCENTILE RANK
Quantitative4370 %
Verbal3472 %
Total64080 %

This means we need 15% or 100 point score improvement. Next will discuss the attack plan! Wish me luck.
Well bon voyage, as some will say!
