This is my final post of the blog, my gmat exam is scheduled for today.
For the last few months I haven't prepared, haven't studied at all and as planned. Last year about this time heading to the test center I was anxious and very worried having studied every day for a month or two. Now this is the opposite situation, lets see how my score will fluctuate...

Not planning business school for the next year or two.. I will take another shot if this score proves not to meet my goal. So good luck! and Shalom:)

V: 24 (33%)
Q: 41 (58%)

Analytical writting 5.5 (70%)

The goal is May 21

There is a new rescheduled date for the GMAT, that is in 3 weeks, May 21!
There is not going to be any rescheduling for this one. Gotta do it. Have 2 more weekend stuck home to study hard, bring the best in.

Gmat 2.0 - Practice test #2

Did the practice test #2 from GMAT Simulator.
Score is pretty disappointing, but I have decided to devote >30 hours weekly to GMAT for the remaining 3 weeks of preparation. Going through the Veritas books next.

Breakdown:
Score: 560
Q 40
V 24

Hmmm... Q 49-50 is very possible I think, hence I am focusing on Verbal only this days.

failure anticipations..

i have reached the point when i feel like i am a failure and I will never make it!
Never completed the test last week.. Never did anything these months, just worried, worried endlessly about the future or other things to come. I feel like canceling my test, and realize I am going to never forgive myself for not trying hard enough, cause having more then 2 GMAT attempts is not what you want for top business school application. After all dragging this task for 2 years now, is not what i want anyway.

Need to pull it together.. this is the wall
but i know i can make it.. right?
CR1 is on the agenda for tonight, tomorrow 8AM is a test!

One more month to go

I successfully screwed up the one month grace period I had given to myself for GMAT preparation, let's summarize what I have done to improve my score in this time period. Virtually nothing! Except for several blog posts which may have improved my writing by very little bit, I have taken a single diagnostic test..

Starting tomorrow I am going to seriously prepare for the exam. Take another practice test next morning and post the results here, and every day to at least 50 tasks!
To go over Veritas Prep books I have gathering dust for the last 3 months. Yes, only doing stuff, and doing stuff actively will help reach the right score!

Dreaming in GMAT

I have read the book "Dreaming in Code" a while ago, since it was relevant to my job and profession, not a great book except for the title. I need more "Dreaming in GMAT"...

Need more focus, need more time...
Why does the day have only 24 hours? Not really a good place to discuss the unfairness of the daylight time breakdown.. Time to sleep!

Gmat dreams

This morning I had the most weird dream. Dreaming about Gmat is not new, as well as dreaming about console interface, various software programs. But I woke up in hysterically -- the dream was the my score for the second take on GMAT was 559 points.. I first thought that that was a good score, then realized what is was like (52 percentile) and jumped up from the bed.

Posting the dream in the blog so that it never comes true.
